Why it’s almost great (but not quite)
The location was absolutely incredible for traveling! The staff were some of the most polite I've encountered and eager to help, making my experience truly enjoyable.
Inconsistent cleanliness was an issue, with complaints about unclean shower mats upon arrival. the room felt outdated and in need of modernization.

the room was nice and comfy for paris and the staff was super helpful and friendly, made us feel welcome. bathroom was a good size and clean, we got tea and decaf for free which was cool. location was great, near metro and felt safe walking at night. overall, really happy with our stay!
only complaint was the price was kinda high for what you get and the coffee capsules were only available in the reception area which was a bit annoying.

Family with children will find this nice
Had a room that overlooked the street. Very Parisian we had room to walk around with our suitcases open plus it was clean.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but still within reason.

Spacious room, especially with the extra bed! We loved the quick elevator and the location was superb for exploring. A pleasant surprise was no bed bugs in sight.
There was an occasional whiff of sewage—charming, isn’t it? And who knew navigating those winding stairs could be an Olympic event?

Great family stay with awesome location
We had a nice time! The room was spacious, letting us chill outside on the terrace, which was perfect during hot days. The reception staff were super friendly. Plus, there were some cute cafés nearby for breakfast. Just a heads up, the lift to the basement for breakfast was a bit tricky if you're not mobile.

The delightful combination of warm tones and art gave the Berne a cozy and inviting feel that felt just like home, while the small, helpful elevator made my travels seamless, even for someone not so sprightly anymore.

An exceptional experience highlighted by friendly staff who went out of their way to make my birthday special with a surprise in the room. The location was ideal, just a short walk from key transport links, making it easy to explore the city. the lift was a bit tricky to navigate, and some noise from nearby areas was noticeable at times, affecting the overall ability to unwind.

Now, let's talk about the rooms—some seriously need a revamp. The decor felt outdated, and I encountered some noise issues from other rooms. The cleanliness was hit or miss. there were complaints about dusty corners and unclean shower mats upon arrival. Shower space could be tight and awkward in some rooms, which may not be everyone’s cup of tea. expect thin walls—if you’re unlucky like I was, you might find yourself listening to the late-night antics of enthusiastic rugby fans nearby. Lastly, having just a couple of breakfast options that catered to vegetarians would’ve been a nice touch and made it easier for different dietary preferences.
